Intensive Courses

As a driving instructor I personally do not advise people to try and condense their entire driver training course into one week. I believe people should learn at a steady pace and incorporate lots of private practice so they are already fairly experienced and able to handle the many different challenges they will face once they have passed their test.

However, I appreciate that due to other commitments such as going away to University or college exams, or even an urgent requirement for independence, a semi intensive course can sometimes be the only viable option.

Unfortunately, due to my current work commitments, I am unable to undertake intensive courses myself but I can offer the services of an excellent driving instructor with 22 years’ experience who ran a very successful driving school in the Winchester area operating 30+ cars. The training vehicle is a Renault Megane Privilege Dci 120 (Convertible).

The intensive courses we offer are suitable for you if:

You have recently failed a test and need help to rectify driver faults
You have failed more than one test and need help getting to the required standard
You have had regular driving tuition and are close to test standard
You have some driving experience but have not reached the standard required for passing the practical test
You passed your test some time ago but have done little or no driving since and need a full day’s training to rebuild your confidence

Please note: Pupils must have already passed the theory test before booking an intensive course

Course Details:

All pupils would be required to complete a 2 hour initial assessment lesson to enable the instructor to work out a lesson plan, based around their test date.

Intensive courses can consist of between 10 and 40 hour’s tuition over a period of 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the individual requirements of the pupil.

Each driving course will include:

One-to-one tuition
Mock driving tests
Full use of the instructor’s car for the test

Course fees:

Each intensive course will be charged at £28 per hour.
The 2 hr assessment should be paid for at the start of the session and the balance for the entire course would need to be paid for at the beginning of the second lesson.
